Though Brick Mansions might not be on everyone’s radar, it definitely should be. Starring the late Paul Walker, RZA and David Belle, the film is a remake of French actioner District 13 and like the original, it looks to promise high-flying action that’s full of jaw-dropping parkour stunts.

I’m a huge fan of both District 13 and its sequel, District B13: Ultimatum, so I’m incredibly excited to see what they’ve done with the American remake. Late actor Paul Walker, who was popular for his daredevilry acts in movies, liked to live on the edge.

The Fast And Furious star, who died in November 2013 following a car accident, was quizzed on being a risk taker before his death, said a statement.

“I think it’s one of those things where there’s that fine line, and you’re trying to find the balance of being in control-but you’re really not in control. The way I explain it is, you know that feeling when you’ve come close to getting in a car accident?”

“Your heart’s pounding because you just evaded it! It’s that moment of being fearful and then realising everything is okay, with your heart racing a mile a minute. It’s like, I’m definitely alive now. I love that,” said Walker.

Walker will soon thrill his fans with his last complete film Brick Mansions.

The film will hit [the Indian] screens on April 25.

Production resumed late last month on Universal Pictures’ Fast & Furious 7 following the tragic death of leading man Paul Walker in November. Today, the production has issued the following official statement that confirms the rumors that Walker’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, are assisting in finishing the James Wan film:

A Note to the Fans of FAST & FURIOUS

The FAST & FURIOUS saga is about family. The characters are connected by the bond of family, and it is how all of us who have worked together for more than thirteen years feel about each other. It certainly defines how we feel about our fans.

Our family experienced an unthinkable shock in November. We had to take time to grieve Paul, the brother we love and lost, and to figure out if we should move on with our film.

We came together and all felt the only choice was to continue. We believe our fans want that, and we believe Paul would want that too. Paul had already shot his dramatic scenes and most of his action for FAST & FURIOUS 7, and it’s among the strongest work of his career.

We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our FAST family. Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too.

We are just under a year away from the release of FAST & FURIOUS 7, and this film is the most important we’ve ever done together. It will allow the character of Brian O’Conner to live on and let us celebrate Paul in his most defining role.

We wanted to take a moment to speak to our fans directly and thank you for the love and support you always show us as we resume our work.

The film’s cast includes, in addition to the late Walker, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Tony Jaa, Kurt Russell, Nathalie Emmanuel, Djimon Hounsou, Lucas Black and John Brotherton.
